Mary Session
CPC, Director of Coding

Mary Session is director of coding, responsible for the continued education of the ABS coding staff and the accuracy of all coding through hands-on processing and ongoing reviews.

In this position, Mary works closely with ABS clients to ensure use of current CPT codes and generating awareness of all current CMS medical policies that would apply to their practice. She also assists clients in setting fees and reviewing them annually to be certain they are in line with appropriate contracted rates.

Having been with ABS for 28 years, Mary spent that time involved in various areas of coding and compliance. She has worked closely with ABS clients including both the physicians and their office staff.

Previously, Mary held the role of ABS compliance officer for seven years.

Mary obtained her certified professional coder certification from the AAPC in 2000.
