Krystal Powell

Krystal Powell joined ABS in September 2002 as an administrative assistant. She spent many years performing a variety of duties for ABS including: contracting and credentialing; system set up and maintenance, client reporting; provider reimbursement reviews; and implementing systems to evaluate payments received to expected contractual allowed amounts. Krystal became a certified professional coder in 2006 through the AAPC.

In 2009, she completed the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance Medical Compliance Manager Certification course and assumed the role of our compliance officer. Krystal continues to develop, implement and train ABS employees about compliance issues and procedures.
