Credentialing Needs
ABS works with physicians and medical practitioners to ensure they are appropriately credentialed and approved with insurance companies, enabling them to submit claims for processing. The credentialing function ABS performs on behalf of its clients allows providers to ensure their eligibility within a given payor network to submit and process claims. ABS performs this task to foster timely processing.
ABS acts as a liaison between physicians, medical practices and insurance companies to manage the entire credentialing process. ABS has garnered long-term relationships with and established a presence among a variety of insurance representatives that aid in expediting the credentialing process.
ABS also handles credentialing with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH), a non-profit alliance of health plans and trade associations that acts as a catalyst for industry collaboration on initiatives that simplify healthcare administration. CAQH solutions promote quality interactions between plans, providers and other stakeholders; reduce costs and frustrations associated with healthcare administration; facilitate administrative healthcare information exchange and encourage administrative and clinical data integration.
ABS' knowledge of and experience within the insurance industry and its ability to analyze fee schedules is critical to supporting its clients through the negotiation process as they work to solidify insurance company relationships and establish suitable fee-for-service and reimbursement rates.
